Why is my card being declined?

Created by Customer Service Support, Modified on Fri, 9 Oct at 3:04 AM by Customer Service Support

A declined payment is decided by your bank, not by us, and the most common reasons are:

  • Insufficient funds or a daily spending limit reached
  • Card details mismatch: the billing address, ZIP code, expiry date or CVV does not match what your bank has on file
  • International purchase blocked: some banks block foreign or online transactions until you confirm it is you
  • Expired card or a card that has been replaced
  • A temporary technical error on the payment network

Please double-check your details, try again in a few minutes, or use a different card or a digital wallet such as Apple Pay or Shop Pay. If it keeps failing, your bank can tell you the exact reason.

We never see or store your full card number, so we cannot see the decline reason on our side. Contact us if you need help completing your order.
